Chapter 2—Strange Gods
Humanity’s potential for self-destruction seems to be without limits. Embracing perversions makes a land strange, while the world calls it progress, innovation, or advancement. They never call it by its true name—clever counterfeits with no power to save us.
We learned from Abraham that in a strange land God is not only ignored, mocked, and blasphemed, but replaced by strange gods which include anything or anyone whom we serve that is not the true “God of this land, who is Jesus Christ” (Ether 2:12). “You shall have no other gods before Me” (Exodus 20:2) is the very first commandment, yet few actually put God first. It happened anciently and it is happening now.
Abraham mourned that his fathers “turned from their righteousness and from the holy commandments which the Lord their God had given them unto the worshipping of the gods of the heathen” (Abraham 1:5). Facsimile 1 in the Book of Abraham shows some of these gods: Elkenah was tied to sexual immortality, Korash cursed those who wouldn’t fully submit to all of the king’s demands, Mahmackrah ties to merchandise, and Libnah to the city of priests. In other words, these strange gods symbolize priestcraft, immorality, obeisance to earthly men, and love of money or merchandise—the same temptations we face today.
Legends tell of faithful young Abraham smashing his father’s graven idols, challenging them to ‘save themselves,’ and wondering “what evil deed is this that my father is doing? Is not he, rather, the god of his gods since they came into existence through his chisels and his wisdom? . . . Their blessing is ruination and their power is vain” (Apocalypse of Abraham 1–8). Elijah was victorious over Jezebel’s priests of Baal in “a trial of the power of the strange gods” they worshipped. “By introducing strange gods into their country and worshipping them, and by leaving their own, who was the only true God, and having no manner of regard to him,” afflictions come. Paul was saddened when many in his day were “carried away unto these dumb idols” (1 Corinthians 12:2) that hardened hearts.
This eternal war is about good vs evil, truth vs error, light vs darkness. Many well-intentioned people may be shocked to learn that not walking up to God’s laws and covenants puts us under the power of Satan, “the god of this world” (2 Corinthians 4:4). The number of people who openly identify as Satanists is rapidly increasing. “Such blatant evil signals the depth of moral and spiritual sickness in our society.”
This gradual but calculated shift happens as people turn away from the true God while turning to others like the United Nations (UN), World Economic Forum (WEF), World Health Organization (WHO), Center for Disease Control (CDC), scientists, politicians, world banks, media, mega-rich tyrants, celebrities, and others for wisdom or solutions in spite of their own admissions that they seek to take our freedoms. The UN’s Agenda 21/Agenda 2030, aka Sustainable Development,
push for high density urban development in city centers by any means necessary while starving the rural and suburban areas for funds and development . . . Similar plans can be found throughout the United States and the world with names like Envision Utah, Imagine Calgary, Granite State Future, PlaNY, One Valley One Vision, Horizon 2035 (Ontario, Canada), and Hanoi (Viet Nam) Regional Center 2030 Plan. All of these plans are the same plan with the same goal: move people out of the rural and suburban areas into the city centers where they can be more easily managed, controlled, and surveilled.
With tight connections to SmartGrowth and SmartCities, Envision Utah is overly involved in our lives, “from education to water to FEMA and earthquake preparations, they wield a mighty sword” and “lead people in the direction they want them to go.” Secretive combinations of individuals, businesses, churches, organizations, and nations work tirelessly to make it happen. They subtly redefine concepts and carefully create buzzwords to ensure their sinister agenda avoids public detection. Secrecy is crucial to ensnare the masses who largely remain unaware, even unconcerned, at this rapidly evolving threat. A President’s Council on Sustainable Development advisor (Agenda 21 and 2030) admits:
Participating in a UN advocated planning process would very likely bring out many . . . who fear ‘one-world government’ and a UN invasion of the United States through which our freedom would be stripped away, and would actively work to defeat any elected official who joined the conspiracy by undertaking Local Agenda 21. So we will call our process something else, such as ‘comprehensive planning’, ‘growth management’, or ‘smart growth’. Also ‘New Urbanism’ or ‘Sustainable communities’.”
These words all sound good and progressive, projects that make one think we are headed in the right direction—but be warned
Smart Growth is the centralized control of every aspect of urban life: energy and water use, housing stock and allocation, population levels and control, public health and dietary regimens, resources and recycling, ‘social justice’ and education, toxic technology and waste management, transportation modes and mobility restrictions, ‘and economic activity including capping and trading energy.
Through Smart Growth, the infrastructure is being created for a post-private property era in which human action is subject to centralized government control . . . Smart Growth policies include: transportation plans that reduce freedom of mobility, forcing people to live near where they work, and transforming communities into heavily-regulated but ‘self-sufficient’ feudalistic ‘transit villages’.
Smart growth is here. We already have smart cars, smart appliances, smart phones, homes, buildings, lightbulbs, cameras or sensors, TVs, vacuums, and much more—including Smart Cities. Utah “got a shout-out from the WEF for their 15-minute city” and the UN when its president visited in 2023. It’s naive, even dangerous, to think these innovations are created strictly to make our lives better. The WEF “plan[s] to use smart devices to be able to shut them down as they choose.” Former Silicon Valley engineer Aman Jabbi says “all cars manufactured and sold in the USA after 2003 are required to be connected to the internet. AI is already equipped to shut down automobile systems. It’s one of the other ways 15-minute smart cities will be implemented.” This infrastructure is largely in place given 84% of earth’s population has smart phones. ‘Smart’ technologies and devices, which WEF estimates to triple by 2027, tempt the unsuspecting to exchange privacy and independence for convenience and innovation. This exchange comes at a great price that has long-lasting repercussions.
Smart products allow an already-overreaching government to surveil and control citizen activities, possessions, and conversations. Jabbi warns that smart cities may be converted into “open concentration camps” with complete surveillance using phones or other smart devices. Computer innovations think and work for us, encouraging a life of ease instead of sacrifice. San Francisco mayor Willie Brown admitted in 1997, “Cities are going to be where people actually live. Cities are going to be where policies of the UN . . . will ultimately be implemented.”
The plan for ‘smart’ living goes beyond products or gadgets, expanding into high-density smart cities that promise to address societal issues that largely have been created by their own plan. WEF developers describe smart cities with words like advanced technology, innovation, and connection, tying them to mobile solutions, big data, artificial intelligence (AI), the internet of things (IoT), and blockchain.
“Advanced technology, including blockchain, can play a key role in solving these societal issues and achieving efficient urban management.”From 2020–2024, smart cities are “expected to grow at an annualized rate of 23%” and “nearly 700 cities will have some kind of meta verse infrastructure by 2030.” The first three already exist in Santa Monica, CA; Seoul, Korea; and Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The final of three phases “will integrate virtual and augmented reality technology” into running the city’s infrastructure. Merging blockchain with digital IDs and smart cities is dangerous. Once we install the technology and they obtain our data, a QR code can link apps, institutions, personal data, health records, bank accounts, loans, travel, shopping habits, medical history, and much more all in one. It’s a key part of tyrannical architecture. The UN’s digitized public infrastructure with digital ID, digital currency, and digital wallets will strip the world of privacy and freedom. They give you convenience, you pay to let them control you. It’s a really good deal—for them.
Promises of security, convenience, guarantee, comfort, and innovation are the foundation of Lucifer’s premortal and mortal offers. Strange gods cannot save them from consequences of their chosen path. “Woe to him who . . . founds a city on iniquity” (Habakkuk 2:12).
If you gather into your cities, I will send pestilence among you, and you will be delivered into the hand of the enemy. (Leviticus 26:25)
Mammon & the Golden Calf
We set ourselves up for disaster by allowing money (mammon) to become the focal point of all interactions. The “mammon of unrighteousness” (Luke 16:9) causes the downfall of many. “Ye cannot serve God and mammon” (Matthew 6:24). The Lord cannot trust us with true riches if we are enamored with unrighteous mammon. Satan invented money—you can buy anything in the world with it—and he is advancing it with digital currency, a necessary step to control citizens. Digital dollars are connected to smart cities. China, the first to create paper money, is
pushing ahead into a cashless society. It is creating a new digital currency to replace paper money and coins. It will also give the Communist party total knowledge of how the Chinese people are spending their money and that opens the door for unprecedented government control . . . Authorities can use this new technology to punish you if you engage in activities they consider anti-government . . . by cutting off [your] access to money.
When people estrange themselves from God and turn to the world, the door opens for demonic gods to return. Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world” (John 18:36). Strange gods can never rule unless there is a falling away from Christian principles. These gods at first may disguise their identity, then reappear boldly when prosperity and sin increase sufficiently. When righteousness reigns they must retreat. An interesting example of how strange gods subtly manifest today is given:
In Abraham’s day, the deity Nabû emerged in Babylon, the god of wisdom, writing, prophecy, and scribes (imitating Enoch). Nabû “fixed destinies” and determined the land’s fate by recording on his tablet, mimicking the book of life. However, unlike Enoch a Babylonian temple was dedicated to “Nabû of Accounts,” god of debits and credits who oversaw trade. Romans called him Mercury, from merx, the root of merchant, merchandise, commerce. Does this matter?
Nebuchadnezzar, meaning Nabû defend my firstborn son, built a kingdom modeling “the end-time religion and type of the antichrist with his economic slavery and harsh poverty intended to compel the world to accept the antichrist’s solution to the suffering and turmoil,” an offer extended to Rome, Egypt, Babylon, and us today. Nabû is similar to the rider on a black horse holding scales (a ‘yoke’), an instrument of bondage (Revelation 6:5). Nabû seeks to bring “economic inequality, slavery, and a financial yoke that subjects the world to the control of a newly formed global government” to prepare us for the ultimate bondage with tracking, surveillance, compulsion, and worship of a venerated leader and his ungodly system of debt, economic slavery, and government dependence to deprive humanity of divine principles of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness—the joy that all were created to receive. After the global 2009 subprime mortgage crisis, MasterCard introduced a new fee for each transaction. VISA, Discover, and American Express quickly created their own variants. Two cents per transaction is paid directly to MasterCard, but over time this seemingly insignificant charge has accumulated phenomenal wealth, giving more power to globalist players. Its name? Network Access and Brand Usage fee—NABU.
We rely on MasterCard charges but fail to put the true Master in charge. We live in an illusion of ever-increasing wealth, endless opportunities, and everlasting rewards where almost everyone is a businessman or manager. But, Nibley mourned, “The rise of management always marks the decline, alas, of a culture” because “it feeds on mediocrity.”
Jesus commands us to “make not my Father’s house a house of merchandise” or trade (John 2:16). Jesus overthrew the moneychangers. “By your great skill in trading you have increased your wealth . . . [but] your heart has grown proud” (Ezekiel 28:5, NIV). “By the multitude of thy merchandise, thy inner parts were filled with iniquity and thou hast sinned” (Ezekiel 28:16, Douay-Rheims). “By all of your iniquity and unrighteous businesses you defiled your sanctuaries” (Ezekiel 28:18, ISV). Simply put, “businessmen and merchants will not enter the places of my Father” (Gospel of Thomas 64:12).
Nickelsburg also indicts those who “use the judicial system to acquire substantial wealth,” including “judges who take bribes or persons who [file] heavy lawsuits.” Prideful arrogance turns our focus away from the true God and onto self-centered pursuits of gain. Spending time accumulating riches keeps us ensnared or distracted from what matters most—repenting. Wealth itself is not evil, but an unwillingness to give it up or relentlessly pursue it proves where one’s heart is set. Their “slippery riches” vanish in an instant, but few heed God’s counsel because instant gratification is readily available. With so much wealth, as they suppose, money is the god of many and speculation is their religion.
The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows. (1 Timothy 6:10, NLT)
This time the ancient god of wealth’s spirit “would not be centered on the fruit and yields of the earth, but on their modern equivalent—financial seeding and yield, monetary profit, increase, and gain. It had the trappings of a new religion, a cult of success, and a doctrine of materialism and greed . . . A sign appeared [in] the financial district of New York City, just outside the New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street. It appeared in December of 1989. It was a massive, 11-feet tall and 16-feet long, 170-lb molten image in the form of . . . a bull—the sign of Baal . . . on the [very] ground on which America came into existence as a constituted nation.” Over a century before, in 1836, during our nation’s spiritual revival, greed and speculation consumed many Christians:
A grievous change had come over the Church in Kirtland. The greed of gain, the spirit of speculation was abroad in the land. Mammon had reared his altars on consecrated ground. The love of the things of earth had usurped, in many hearts, the love of the things of heaven, and comparatively few were free from the soul-destroying influence of idolatry. Idolatry? Yes; the bowing down to the modern Baal, the worship of wealth.
When we left Kirtland a city lot was worth about $150; but on our return, to our astonishment, the same lot was said to be worth from $500 to $1,000, according to location; and some men, who, when I left, could hardly get food to eat, I found on my return to be men of supposed great wealth; in fact everything in the place seemed to be moving in great prosperity and all seemed determined to become rich.
This appearance of prosperity led many of the Saints to believe that the time had arrived for the Lord to enrich them with the treasures of the earth, and believing so, it stimulated them to great exertions . . . My heart sickened to see the awful extent that things were getting to. [Many] entered into combinations to obtain wealth by fraud and every means that was evil.
In 2019 Utah “had the most Ponzi schemes of all states and most per capita,” being known as the ‘fraud capital.’ In 2021 Utah was named the second most corrupt state with a 94.9/100 corruption index score. By 2023, Utah’s actions “led to a swamp that may rival Washington DC’s” and “appears to have led—or at very least—been instrumental in the demise of our [nation’s] sovereignty.” An 1800 b.c. Egyptian text says “the wrongdoer is everywhere . . . the rich man is become a plunderer.” Many in history mistakenly saw prosperity as a sure sign of God’s grace and blessing when, instead, money is their strange god.
Early Christians called Christemporoi those who made merchandise of spiritual gifts or church connections. The things of the world and the things of eternity cannot be thus conveniently conjoined. To ‘seek ye first financial independence and all other things shall be added’ is recognized as a rank perversion of the scriptures and an immoral inversion of values.
“Wo to you, rich, for in your riches you have trusted; and from your riches you will depart, because you have not remembered the Most High in the days of your riches” (1 Enoch 94:8). “By the multitude of thy merchandise . . . thou hast sinned” (Ezekiel 28:16). “It is not right that any man should be in bondage one to another” (D&C 101:78), including debt, interest, unscrupulous loans, and exorbitant pricing that binds and burdens the needy. With greed rampant, the majority bind others or are in bondage. Extensive worldliness and materialistic endeavors had a strong hold on professed Christians even in 1877:
Many of the Saints are still glued to this earth, and lusting and longing after the things of the world in which there is no profit. It is true we should look after the things of this world and devote all to the building up of the Kingdom of God . . . [but our] people are still shaking hands with the servants of the devil. Instead of sanctifying themselves and calling upon the Lord and doing the work which he has commanded us . . . show some of the elders . . . a dollar on one side, and eternal life on the other, and I fear they would choose the dollar.
Greed cannot exist in Zion, where all give freely and all have sufficient for their needs and wants. Ironically, this model makes Zion’s people “far more wealthy” than others. In 1833 God said, “There is even now already in store sufficient, yea, even an abundance to redeem Zion and establish her waste places”—but Zion has yet to be established because “churches, who call themselves after my name, [are not] willing to hearken to my voice” (D&C 101:75). Greed, power, and error have a tight hold.
I, the Lord, am not well pleased with the inhabitants of Zion . . . They seek not earnestly the riches of eternity, but their eyes are full of greediness. (D&C 68:31)
Loving riches causes us to forget God. “How could you have forgotten your God in the very day that he has delivered you?” we are asked. The answer: “Behold, it is to get gain, to be praised of men, yea, and that ye might get gold and silver. And ye have set your hearts upon the riches and vain things of this world” (Helaman 7:20–21).
It is the first commandment to have no other gods. “I am the Lord thy God . . . Thou shalt know no god but me, for there is no savior besides me” (Hosea 13:4). Most do not really want the true God since power and money are the gods they seek, serve, worship, and trust. Ironically, the only mention of God that seems to be tolerated today is printed on US money: ‘In God We Trust.’ But which god have we trusted in? Our collective actions prove that most trust the strange gods of this world. “Labor for Zion; for if they labor for money they shall perish” (2 Nephi 26:31).
It is interesting that the antichrist Nimrod convinced the world to follow his wicked ways then controlled them by moving them into cities, allowing a tight rein on all production and distribution of food and other resources—like Agenda 2030. Nimrod ruled when “the world’s first mass-produced product, a primitive type of pottery called the beveled-rim bowl . . . used to dole out barley and oil for workers’ daily rations” was made. “Among the crudest vessels in the history of Mesopotamian pottery,” it was “a step backward in technique and quality” but a huge step forward for economic gain and control. “Rationed food means there is a central authority doling out daily bread to the people” who “exchanged their freedom” to depend on “guaranteed government rations.”
It wasn’t only Babylon that ruled with Satan’s template. Near the end of the Roman republic (which resembles today’s America in more ways than we should be comfortable with), grain and handouts were distributed to citizens at below-market prices in 123 b.c. The programs expanded and became free by 58 b.c. About 20% of Rome received handouts and by 22 a.d., the propaganda lie that “the utter ruin of the state” would come without government assistance was widely believed. A poet at the time described “how easily and cheaply ambitious rulers had lured Roman citizens into trading away the republic . . . There [are] only two things that concern them: bread and circuses.” In other words, “the people of Rome had abdicated their responsibilities as citizens of a republic, content to place their necks in the government’s yoke in exchange for an allotment of free bread and tickets to the Colosseum.”
Having seen our day, Moroni grieved, “Behold, ye do love money, and your substance, and your fine apparel, and the adorning of your churches, more than ye love the poor and the needy, the sick and the afflicted” (Mormon 8:36–38). Having more interest in wealth than living the gospel has eternal consequence. Righteousness cannot coexist with materialism, and too many people are fighting for a seat at a table Jesus would have overturned.
Most trust in the wrong god. They worship a golden calf and serve mammon. The world shifts from wealth creation to wealth worship to wealth manipulation, which delivers the power needed to manipulate nations and people. Trading freedom for convenience—or discipline for distraction—allows it to happen.
Every man seems to have a different idol. One has pride [and is] self-righteous . . . Another man’s god is his self-confidence [for] he knows better than God . . . [Some are] in the form of lust—unchastity, fornication, adultery, uncleanness of body . . . Others have the god of covetousness. To make money, to save money, to grab, to grasp; for this they will grind the workman in his wages; for this they will cheat in the quantity or the quality of their goods. All sorts of tricks in trade will be performed that they may get rich. Now covetousness is idolatry. If you worship a god of gold, you will perish as much as if you worshipped a god of mud.
God offers the better way: “Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, for God has said, Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5, Berean).
The New Religions
Once people forget God, they find other ways and objects to worship in His place, paving the way for strange gods to rule them and their nation. Cahn describes in fascinating detail the modern return of the ancient gods like Baal, Ishtar, and Molech, who have a strong hold on our hearts and turn us from God. Their wicked but alluring sins capture the world with political (not spiritual) correctness, wokeness, cancel culture, greed, selfishness, entitlement, and more.
Satan (‘the accuser’) and his workers—media, actors, entertainers, and others who are often paid millions to push his propaganda and radical ideas—accuse those who speak truth of being hateful, conspiratorial, intolerant, backward, and ignorant. With their global reach, persuading the masses has been quite successful. Most don’t appear to regret exchanging their souls for fame and fortune, nor do they hide the fact that they serve strange gods. At the prestigious Oscar awards, one actor received loud applause as he opened with, “Good evening, godless sodomites. Kneel before your god Babylon!” They are serious. A wall plaque at the Oscar’s Kodak Theater reads “Babylon’s Court,” center stage is designed with a large Tower of Babel, and outside there is a large replica of Ishtar’s gate, complete with all the same Babylonian gods and elephants. Some award recipients thank “the Oscar gods” for their success and mock Jesus. Their trophies mimic the Egyptian god Ptah, who after death was said to become a star in the sky. That these celebrities are called ‘stars’ is no coincidence since they are looked up to around the world.
Jesus said, “For it is written, you shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shalt thou serve” (Luke 4:8) but man has always been tempted to worship people in public and prominent positions. Using imagery of oaks, Isaiah implies leaders and idols are fawned over, immune from the law, and a catalyst for leading people to destruction. Ironically, “all who are renowned on earth” will eventually be humbled (Isaiah 23:9). Once the Antichrist is on the scene, he will tolerate no worship of any idols, except himself. Not only do people worship these idols, they serve them.
“Israel served Baalim” (Judges 2:13), enslaved by multiple gods that they labored for and under. Americans too willingly now served and were mastered by the Baals of money, pleasure, success, acceptance, sexual gratification, addictions, work, comfort, the internet, self-fulfillment, self-obsession, and countless other gods and idols—the Baals of the modern world.
Once a leader in defending and honoring sanctity of life, the US has evolved to become a passionate defender of the right to kill their own innocent unborn children, a great evil that strikes at the very center of God’s plan. The highest and most abhorrent sacrifice is that of human life, so only nations that have sunk low morally support such evil. “They slew their children in sacrifices, or used secret ceremonies, or made revellings of strange rites” (Wisdom of Solomon 14:23).
Abortions are now legal, common, and government-backed in many countries. In the US alone, over 59 million abortions were reported between 1973–2014. It is horrifying to consider how many go unreported. Abortion is a modern equivalent of sacrificial offerings on Baal’s altars, a sin that ensnared ancient Israelites as it has our culture today.
It is no accident that the first civilization in the modern age to embody a total rejection of God and biblical morality, the Soviet Union, was also the first to legalize the killing of unborn children. It is also no accident that it was at the same time that America began dramatically turning away from God and its biblical foundations, in the mid- and late twentieth century, that it also embraced the killing of its most innocent. Only then did it legalize abortion.
As in the ancient case, the practice of killing unborn children took place at first in secret and against the law. But as apostasy continued, the act emerged from the shadows to become public policy. It was now endorsed from the highest echelons of society and culture and legalized by those in power.
America and the West turned to the altars of Baal.
Abortion is not a political issue, it’s a moral one. A first-century apostolic teaching says “You shall not murder a child by abortion or kill that which is born” (Didache 2). Some“perform it as a thing they account holy and legal.” Others demand laws “to restore abortion to its sacred dimension.” After all, they rationalize, “It is not immoral to choose abortion; it is simply another kind of morality, a pagan one.” Some refer to abortion in religious terms: a “sacred act” or “sacrifice,” a “major blessing” and “sacrament in the hands of women.” Early Christians faced it too:
They commit murder before they bring forth. And these things assuredly come down from the teaching of [strange] gods.
Even after the U. S. Supreme Court overturned Roe vs Wade case in 2022, many states still aggressively campaign to keep abortion legal. For example, “Currently in Utah, there is no punishment for the mother if she commits the act of killing her baby in the womb. She is exempt from the law . . . By trying to keep some abortion legal, the Utah constitution and the ‘trigger bill’ have kept all abortion legal.” It is disappointing that “Utah has become one of the most ProChoice states.” Legislator Dan McCay admitted, “There is currently no hope to end abortion in Utah. In fact, even if the [LDS] church would come out against it. In that case, it will fail also.” Rep. Karianne Lisonbee was concerned: “With this political landscape, banning abortion will never be allowed in Utah.”
Other strange gods prevail. In 2016 a Temple of Baal arch was set up in London, coinciding “with an ancient pagan festival that connects the modern replica with their ancient roots: serving false gods.” Baal’s arch was next set in New York. In 2017 it appeared at the World Government Summit in UAE. In 2018, the arch of Baal was displayed in Washington DC. Baal was the god worshipped by the most evil queen Jezebel.
‘Baal’ means lord or master. Baal was the substitute god. He was the god of their apostasy. He was the god that they turned to when they turned away from the God of their fathers. Baal was the anti-God representing their fall. Could the sign of Baal [return]?—the sign of a nation that has turned away from God, a nation that has embarked on defiance of God and judgment? And we are here today to witness that sign appearing on American soil.
Baal isn’t the only strange god reappearing in New York. In 2015, powerful images of the Hindu Kali, goddess of death and destruction, were projected on the Empire State Building, one of America’s tallest and most iconic buildings. In 2019, the United Nations conference was held outside of New York for the first time when the US hosted. The controversial conference, with “focus on sustainable cities and communities,” was held in Salt Lake City, Utah. Targeting “youth” and “students [is the] key reason the conference is coming to Salt Lake City,” they said, because the WEF and UN together “are committed to accelerate implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.”
To be clear, Sustainable Development (aka Agenda 21/2030) is the eco-governance system used by the UN’s global governing body. In 2012, the UN’s Environmental Program (UNEP) issued a report called “21 Issues for the 21st Century” which called on the United Nations to be the sole governing body of the world—and appealing to the environment is the only way they can make it happen:
Tony Blair, previous Prime Minister of England, said it best when he stated: ‘There is Capitalism, there is Communism, . . . now there is Sustainable Development.’
[It] is a governance system that is a combination of communism and fascism that is centered on the idea of having the United Nations being the sole preserving body of the earth’s natural resources. However, they are not preserving the resources for the people, but for the UN to be able to control while simultaneously keeping the majority of the people from using them . . . [all] centered on the alleged promise of ‘protecting the environment.’
Loyalties have changed since Ezra Taft Benson warned, “Let us have no further blind devotion to the communist-dominated United Nations.” Unfortunately, Agenda 2030 and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are encouraged by many. Utah Valley University’s boasts of being “in partnership with the Academic Impact Initiative of the United Nations” and their SDGs. LDS leaders publicly promote Agenda 2030 and UN’s “Sustainable Societies,” foolishly likening it to Enoch’s Zion.
Many of our “inherited lies” can be traced back to groups that organized and participate in the global dominance agenda. In 1972, an obscure UN-produced video revealed their goals:
1. Food control
2. Guns and weapon control
3. Population control
Fifty years ago, their agenda remained secretive and hidden from the public’s knowledge while they continued to lay “the foundation of the destruction of this people” (Alma 10:27). In order to get the required buy-in from all countries, alleged premises of protecting the environment were needed. The lie of manmade global warming that would cause the destruction of the planet was created and pushed, in spite of the fact that 30,000 of the world’s top PhD scientists in climatology, atmospheric science, and meteorology together exposed the notion as “fraudulent” and even testified before Congress. In contrast, only 22 scientists were involved in the UN’s report supporting global warming. Combinations of “half truths, lies of omission of pertinent facts, or blatant outright lies” that are believed have allowed them to gain the power to succeed.
They use the environment to tug at heart strings of the unsuspecting while carefully leading us to destruction. A co-chair of the International Panel on Climate Change admitted their fraud:
We redistribute de facto the world’s wealth by climate policy . . . One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with environmental policy anymore.
Emma Brindall, of Friends of the Earth, said, “A climate change response must have at its heart a redistribution of wealth and resources.” Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper admitted, “Kyoto is essentially a socialist scheme to suck money out of wealth-producing nations.”
“Sustainable” is a deceptive promise. Neither people nor earth can sustain themselves with the pollution, artificial foods, poisoned soil and crops, chem trails, cancer-causing products, and pharmaceutical drugs that are rampant but driven by greed. God assures us the earth can sustain itself and all people—without oppressive control and interference.
The earth is full, and there is enough and to spare; yea, I prepared all things. (D&C 104:17)
Yet still, evil ones deceive us into believing what God created cannot sustain itself while they quickly work to remove private property, rights and liberties, means to protect oneself, destroy families and souls, and more. God said there is sufficient when the earth is used “with judgment, not to excess, neither by extortion” (D&C 59:20). But the UN is extorting money by taxation, gaining a large percentage of taxes collected by fuel vendors in states and member countries. The “International Climate Court of Justice would force western nations to pay climate debt . . . mandated to respect ‘the rights of Mother Earth’” while acting as “a slush fund for bankrolling an all-powerful world government.” Lord Christopher Monckton describes the financial motivation: “All the money will be connected by the UN and whatever is left after they have taken their considerable cut will be doled out according to the wishes of UN bureaucrats. As a senior UN diplomat told me last year, ‘The UN exists for only one purpose: to get more money. That, and that alone, is the reason why it takes such an interest in climate change’.”
In case you’re curious, as of 2011, “the USA continues to pay 22% of the annual funding for the UN while two-thirds of members pay less than 1%,” which may be “history’s biggest and most unwarranted voluntary transfer of wealth and surrender of sovereignty.”
Having so many buy into this sinister agenda is crucial for its success so we, like Romans long ago, are bombarded with propaganda that appeals to a social responsibility that often is not grounded in truth. The 11th goal of the UN’s SDGs is: “To accommodate everyone, we need to build modern, sustainable cities. For all of us to survive and prosper, we need new, intelligent urban planning that creates safe, affordable, resilient, sustainable cities.” Other UN–WEF partnership focus includes accelerating finance flows toward Agenda 2030, climate change projects, focusing on key emerging global health threats, obtaining digital cooperation in the 4th Industrial Revolution, promoting gender equality, empowerment of women and youth, and global reskilling of workers.
A 2024 UN report condemns the US, calling for them to crack down on free speech, use taxpayer money to fund abortions, remove legal restrictions against abortion, change its Constitution, legalize incest and prostitution, penalize states that don’t push genital mutilation in children, require government permission to purchase firearms and ammunition, open its borders wider, and remove criminal liability for actions like begging, panhandling, urinating in public, and more. It’s alarming how many people who claim to be Christians support woke ideas, being ignorant of the true agenda, thus empowering the United Nations more.
If one is still not convinced their agenda is all about control, the UN’s Declaration of Human Rights says that “rights and freedoms” may “in no case be exercised contrary to the purposes and principles of the United Nations.” The UN oath of office requires such absolute allegiance that no instruction can be received from any other government or organization. In other words, all rights, freedoms, and allegiance must be to the UN alone, leaving no room for ethics, government, or God. That is treasonous. States like Utah are obtaining global recognition by supporting the UN agenda. With its own downtown World Trade Center, Utah is working hard to be “a global powerhouse” and “making Utah the crossroads of the world, one business at a time.”
World Trade Center Utah and the LDS church hosted a Qatar ambassador and delegation in 2019, hoping to tap into the $45 billion Qatar had to invest on US soil for “infrastructure, energy, and technology.” Historically strange lands around Qatar (Assyria, Babylon, Egypt, Canaan, and Persia) were destroyed. It is the Lamanite story too. They “began to increase in riches, and began to trade one with another and wax great, and began to be a cunning and a wise people, as to the wisdom of the world” (Mosiah 24:17). But we are commanded,
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. (1 John 2:15)
Are we too proud or content to think we can compromise without being destroyed? God “spews out” the lukewarm (Revelation 3:16). “Those who smugly think these calamities will not happen, that they somehow will be set aside because of the righteousness of the Saints, are deceived and will rue the day they labored such a delusion.”
Joseph warned, “The United States will spend her strength and means warring in foreign lands until other nations will say, ‘Let’s divide up the lands of the United States’ . . . Then the country will go to war.” In 1843 He also prophesied, “There is a land beyond the Rocky Mountains that will be invaded by the heathen Chinese unless great care and protection are given.” Yet here we are, with China “prioritizing their relationship with Utah.” In return, Utah expressed “solidarity with China” and promotes “pro-China resolutions.”
We have been given scripture, freedom, liberty, and His covenant. We should know better.
“In Data We Trust”
Evil forces are intent (and experienced) in destroying nations. They carefully shifted us from
“In God We Trust” —> “In Gold We Trust” —> “In Goods We Trust” —> “In Government We Trust” —> “In Gain We Trust”
How will the government oppress us? They tell us. By appealing to our love of convenience and security, another god quietly but powerfully infiltrated every aspect of our culture—the god of data, the digital god that seeks to be the most central, and perhaps most damaging, of all.
A WEF whitepaper titled “Global Agenda Council on the Future of Government” promotes a “new formula for creating public value.” Their solution? Citizens should share their data freely, although most are highly unaware of the depth, breadth, and risk this poses.
3 billion people are producing data every second of their digital lives . . . This need for data is quickly becoming a central theme that applies to all aspects of our evolving digital society . . . Artificial intelligence promises to revolutionize society (governments included). Companies such as Google, Facebook and Microsoft are using AI-related techniques to train computers to recognize objects in photos and understand human language. It is possible to train computers to perform these difficult feats because we have the enormous quantities of data that is required. The same applies to all forms of machine learning, smart manufacturing, and every other tech-driven trend shaping the future. They are all reliant on data, and are only as good as the data they crunch. In this context, data has been described as the ‘new oil.’
So far, people have been willingly offering their data for free in exchange for access to technology services (e.g. email). But this will not remain the case for long. Business models are being developed to find the ways and means to start paying people for the data they generate in their daily lives. An exciting, and widely unregulated, sector is emerging.
This “In Data We Trust” presentation was followed by “Augmented reality for smart government, smart cities, smart citizens.” Augmented reality (AR) is a “paradigm shift” as “global technology leaders, including Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Snapchat, and Apple have all staked significant claims in the AR ‘digital’ land rush. Apple CEO Tim Cook said that ‘a significant portion of developed countries, and eventually all countries, will have AR experiences every day, almost like eating three meals a day’,” through our handhelds, mobile devices, smartphones, tablets, and other technological displays. “Smart infrastructure and the Internet of Things” are paving the way to “accelerate the rollout of smart and connected infrastructure across cities, regions, and entire countries. Roadways, energy grids, water and sewage systems, public buildings and facilities, communications networks, cars and homes, etc. are becoming smarter every day,” while estimates of up to 64 billion devices could be connected at the time of this writing. “This smart infrastructure and the massive amount of real-time, geo-specific data it generates proves both the engine and the fuel for AR in the public sector,” where “the very foundations for governance . . . are transformed into truly ‘living’ documents.”
Massive data sharing invades privacy and feeds into a social credit system (ESG) that can restrict, reward, or remove businesses or citizens according to scores or compliance. Elon Musk “is increasingly convinced that corporate ESG is the devil incarnate.” ESG standards “evaluate a company based on how its leaders use their power to change the environment and society,” but it is also “designed to add the power of corporations to the ongoing effort to destroy the traditional family.” “For the social credit system to work within a fully integrated command control economy, there must be a way to catalogue every single object on the planet, and to then tie patterns of individual behavior and consumption to the human subjects using those objects,” a communist idea. “This full spectrum collection of information can then be used to reward or penalize individuals for political affiliations, lifestyle choices, consumption of food or other raw materials, travel, professional associations, choice of friends, and an almost unlimited number of personal identifiers . . . [As for] the connection between technological control and communism, one cannot exist without the other. Accepting a fully integrated facial recognition system is key to positively identifying everyone and cataloging human subjects in a communist ‘social credit’ system of government.”
WEF Sr. Advisor Yuval Harari, an antichrist, boasts, “Communism was the first techno religion. We see the potential rise of a new kind of religion, a data religion.” He is also enthusiastic about “the rise of a new kind of regime, a digital dictatorship.”
Paul associates idols with technology when he warned of “an image formed by man’s skill [techne] and imagination” (Acts 17:29). Techne (G5078) is the demonic Greek spirit of arts, crafts, and technology/technical skill. “American and Western civilizations had now created the most powerful of idols. And the present generation, more than any other, now served its own creation, its new master, the techne of its own hands . . . Ancient idols were deaf, blind, and mute, unable to move or act. But the high-tech idols of the modern world were more powerful; they could see, hear, speak, and do almost anything. And each generation became more attached to them, more plugged in, and more addicted to them,” making it “hard to break free of their spell.” They gloat,
If previously God was in the center of events, the most interesting place in the world today in religious terms is Silicon Valley. This is where the new religions that will take over the world are being formulated.
For decades Silicon Valley, California has been the innovative technology center of the world. Many are unaware that numerous technology companies have moved, started in, or set up offices or headquarters in an area just south of Salt Lake City called Silicon Slopes. In addition, Utah is home to NSA’s Intelligence Community Comprehensive National Cybersecurity Initiative data center, a massive data storage facility that houses all cellular, email, and other information that the government quietly surveils. While its mission is classified, in 2009 the US Dept of Justice found NSA did engage “in large-scale overcorrection of domestic communications in excess” of its authority. Fusion centers are increasing rapidly too. “Five Eyes” is an intelligence alliance with admitted opportunity for citizen surveillance between Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK, and the US so citizens beware. God promises the faithful His omniscient and omnipresent watch, but this divine gift has been imitated to surveil and enslave us.
The US dollar has a seal with the motto Annuit Coeptis Novus ordo seclorum, translated “[God] approves of this undertaking, a new order of the ages.” God’s new order birthed a God-centered, freedom-founded nation. Is it any surprise that the globalist cabal calls their fake-Zion plan a ‘new world order’? Is it a coincidence that the Illuminati was created in 1776, the year God founded this nation as His? Its goals are to abolish private property and inheritance; destroy the family, patriotism, and Christianity; and create a global one world new order of government.
Their new religions are patterned after God’s but in all the wrong ways. They admit their version “promises roughly the same thing that we were promised by the traditional religions. It promised peace, prosperity, Paradise. But here on earth, with the use of technology—not in the afterlife by the act of some divine power.”
You need completely new ideologies, completely new religions, and they are likely to emerge from Silicon Valley, and they are likely to give people visions based on technology [and] everything that the old religions promised—happiness and justice and even eternal life—but here on earth, with the help of technology and not after death, with the help of some supernatural being.
Techno-religions are appealing because their promises (including visions) come without the discipline, faith, and integrity God requires. Satan and his followers “set [God] at naught and sought the Godhead” for themselves (1 Adam and Eve 6:7). “All this story about Jesus rising from the dead and being the Son of God. This is fake news,” Harari claims. Through technology, Satan’s premortal offer of eternal life without faithful sacrifice is presented again in mortality—and many are choosing in.
Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly overtaking our society, digitally ‘thinking’ for people and making alarmingly accurate predictions. WEF is clear where we are heading under this high-tech plan: “a shift in authority from humans to algorithms to AI.” AI, which is said to contain the sum of human knowledge, is only as good as its given data, which can be manipulated or selectively programmed. Google CEO Sundar Pichai told 60 Minutes, “AI will be as good or as evil as human nature allows.” How alarming. The IRS admits AI can “see the amount in your bank account” even though they “doubt” it’s constitutional.
“Over 2,000 cities in 43 states have already installed” AI-powered mass surveillance cameras . . . to ‘fight crime.’ ALPR cameras are being used in other parts of the world to enforce climate mandates.” Software like Siri moves us from understanding how to use technology to technology that understands us. AI has become so advanced that it’s very difficult to tell if we are watching a real human or computer animation.
Replacing human jobs with AI-driven technology is an admitted part of the globalist agenda. Global elites believe “the most important question in 21st century economics is ‘what do we need people for?’ We don’t have any answer in the Bible ‘what to do’ when humans are no longer useful to the economy.” Globalists say humans can instead find meaning in life through “drugs and computer games. People will regulate more and more their moods with all kinds of biochemicals, and they will engage more and more with three-dimensional virtual realities.” No thanks.
Freedom is power so Satan desperately seeks “to destroy the agency of man which I, the Lord God, had given him” (Moses 4:3). They prove God right by believing that “our own free will . . . is a myth that served us well for a couple of centuries, but now it’s becoming dangerous.” How greatly this differs from the true God who declares we are free. “I, the Lord God, make you free, therefore ye are free indeed; and the law also maketh you free. Nevertheless, when the wicked rule the people mourn” (D&C 98:8–9).
Denying the existence, or at least the importance, of God is essential to their new religions. This is why evolution and atheism are pushed so heavily. Technology is their religion so there is no need for God because they believe they are god.
Science is replacing evolution by natural selection with evolution by intelligent design, not the intelligent design of some god above the clouds, but our intelligent design and the intelligent design of our clouds—the IBM cloud, the Microsoft Cloud. These are the new driving forces of evolution.
Images and reality have blurred, even flipped, in a spiritually dangerous way. Augmented and virtual reality is not reality. Artificial intelligence is not true intelligence. Strange gods work toward altering perception. God cannot tolerate man’s skewed reality, nor their subversive inventions which are the products of “those who hate Me” (Exodus 20:4).
WEF leaders are “urgently” seeking to solve the world’s supposed overpopulation ‘problem’ by eliminating what they claim is an emerging, burdensome “class of useless people.” This would allow AI to dominate alongside transformed humans who, through AI and technological advances, can be elevated “to god-like status.” Highlighting the transformative power of these technologies, Harari asserts the elite are “developing even bigger powers than ever before. We are really acquiring divine powers of creation and destruction” akin to a god’s ability to shape life so “we are probably one of the last generations of Homo sapiens.”
So who plays god? They tell us: “How exactly will the future masters of the planet look? This will be decided by the people who own the data. Now, why is data so important? It’s important because we’ve reached the point when we can hack not just computers, we can hack human beings and other organisms.” They say it can all be done without God—a belief similar to Satan, who “rebelled against me and sought . . . that I should give unto him mine own power” (Moses 5:16, 4:3).
Artificial intelligence is the means to achieve it. So powerful are “bioengineering and machine learning and artificial intelligence,” they claim, that they can be used “either to upgrade ourselves into a totally different kind of being or to create a totally different kind of being that will take over.” Harari claims that in a few centuries “the beings that will dominate the Earth will be far more different from us than we are different from the Neanderthals or from chimpanzees . . . It’s not because I overestimate the AI. It’s because most people tend to overestimate human beings.” They despise and mock mankind—God’s crowning creation.
With artificial intelligence becoming so highly advanced, how hard would it be to create a digital-transhuman antichrist to deceive us and perform great signs and wonders? They call it “intelligent design” but deny God’s role and existence. God said, “This is my work and my glory, to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man” (Moses 1:39). Evil ones seek this glory artificially and without the required sacrifice, faith, and priesthood power.
Strangers trust man’s genius and pride themselves in smart electronic innovation and artificial intelligence, but God says true intelligence
was not created or made, neither indeed can be . . . [for] the glory of God is intelligence, or, in other words, light and truth. (D&C 93:29, 36)
Light and truth are our strongest weapons against evil, lies, and works of darkness. “Light and truth forsake that evil one” (D&C 93:36–37). Technological dependence, food and power deprivation, inflation, financial bondage rob us of our God-given independence and keep us under the control of powerful rulers. The adversary vowed to take the earth’s treasures and buy up militaries, popes, false priests, oppressors, and tyrants who destroy and reign with violence and vengeance to thwart God’s plan.
They seek not the Lord to establish His righteousness, but every man walketh in his own way, and after the image of its own God, whose image is in the likeness of the world, and whose substance is that of an idol. (D&C 1:16)
And this is exactly what Satan has done again—leading the unsuspecting to fight with him in this battle to extinguish eternal life.
The Power of the Air
The strangest god is he who fell from glory but claims to be “the god of this world” (2 Corinthians 4:4). Using his “power of the air,” Satan captivates, lures, then turns God’s children into “children of disobedience.”
Ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience. (Ephesians 2:2)
There are several ways to interpret this, but the most literal of all—that he rules the air—is accurate. Millions of WiFi and wireless signals in the air allow their devious data-centered plan to move forward so evil can truly rule the planet. Satan uses radio, TV, satellite, and other waves to “transmit through the air—broadcasts—attitudes, impulses, desires of vanity, lust, and greed, jealousy and envy, competition, rebellion against [God’s] authority.”
Satan has power, but God does not leave us without. “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7) so we can discern and defend. All matter—including cells and emotions—has frequency, it’s the vibration of life. Because God and Satan both work in frequencies, good vs evil is a war of frequencies.
“Ultimate power and control is being waged bioenergetically through frequency modulations or electromagnetic manipulations affecting ‘consciousness’ and impacting biology, physiology, and human behavior.” “Sound frequencies have been used to create mass hysteria and herd behavior for more than a century. In the 1930s, the Rothschild–Rockefeller alliance funded scientific studies examining how musical frequencies can prepare masses for war . . . using sound technology to control the emotional response” of its targets. Wickedness “enabled the world’s wealthiest people to exercise cultural control” by manipulating events to change the international standard tuning of note A to 440Hz (444Hz is ideal for A, 528 Hz for healing). This is alarming because “440 Hz is a destructive frequency that can retrain our thoughts towards disruption, disharmony, and disunity. It stimulates our brain into disharmonious resonance, which ultimately can create disease and lead to war.” Scientists have proven DNA can be reprogrammed by words and frequencies.
Because of our insatiable thirst for technology, the air is full of invisible, but powerful and often extremely harmful, waves—including 5G. In 2015, over 230 international EMF scientists signed and delivered the “EMF Scientist Appeal” to the UN, voicing their concern about the many serious effects of 5G technology. In 2017, hundreds more unsuccessfully called for a moratorium on 5G until it was fully investigated. 1300 signed the “Hippocrates Electrosmog Appeal of Belgium” due to growing concerns with “massive and reckless deployment of wireless technologies.” In 2019 numerous appeals, petitions, and statements were delivered to heads of nations across the world begging for safety and reason to overrule their unstoppable desire for newer technologies.
Some insurance companies refuse to insure Wi-Fi or 5G-related claims. It is hardly an overreaction. 5G uses 24–90+ GHz while previous generations only use 1-5 GHz. This equates to at least 5-20 times higher radiation. It’s alarming that the US Army’s Active Denial System weapon uses only 95 GHz frequency for psychological warfare and crowd dispersion. 5G’s shorter, more powerful wavelengths require more towers, making it hard—if not impossible—for humans to avoid exposure given tens of millions of towers, “equivalent of a cell tower every 2-10 houses.” Former FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler too was alarmed at the direction wireless was taking: “If something can be connected, it will be connected to 5G”—and that includes humans. “It turns out that our eyes and our sweat ducts act as antennas for absorption of the higher-frequency 5G waves” capable of absorbing electromagnetic energy between 75-100 GHz, which means our stress responses can be traced. We are electromagnetic organisms whose bodies transmit and respond to electrical information, so “little antennas re-radiate the electromagnetic field and send it deeper into the body,” Firstenberg explains. “This means that the reassurance we are being given—that these millimeter waves are too short to penetrate far into the body—is not true.”
5G frequencies “scramble” human’s electromagnetic communications system, causing physical or psychological disease and influencing perceptions and emotional responses. Equally concerning is that Dr. Pall’s research found mitochondrial damage, mutations, and negative effects of 5G EMFs are passed to future generations forever. “RF radiation is carcinogenic, causes DNA damage, affects fertility and the endocrine system, and has neurological impacts. Pulsed electromagnetic frequencies have also been shown to cause neurological symptoms: depression, anxiety, headaches, muscle pain, attention deficits, insomnia, dizziness, tinnitus, skin tingling, loss of appetite, and nausea.”
Microwave weapons expert Barrie Thrower said it bluntly, “It’s a weapon you don’t know you’re being targeted with.” He found Wi-Fi radiation is linked to infant deaths and irreversible changes in young girls’ egg cell DNA. Technical weapons expert, inventor, and nuclear research technology officer Mark Steele agrees, finding 5G powerful enough to kill babies in the womb. He says,
5G hardware has a dielectric lens, which is proof it is a weapons system. 5G is a weapons system, nothing more, nothing less. It’s got nothing to do with telecommunications for humans. 5G is a machine to machine connection for autonomous vehicles.
The US government has been aware of these risks since at least 1971. Scientists unsuccessfully urged the WHO to update its classification of RF and 5G to a Class 1 carcinogen. Likewise the FDA and others in the know are downplaying, if not ignoring, the science because there is a bigger plan and your health isn’t a concern. “5G is being touted as a necessary step to the ‘internet of things’—a world in which our refrigerators alert us when we’re low on milk, our baby’s diapers tell us when they need to be changed, and Netflix is available everywhere, all the time.”
Smart technology, which relies on 5G, is being pushed with fervor. In Sasha Stone’s 5G Apocalypse—the Extinction Event, Steele explains that “SMART” technologies stand for “Secret Militarized Armaments for Residential Technology.” You may need to read that again. “It’s bigger than the holocaust,” he says. “It’s absolutely terrifying.”
5G technology “makes us antennas in the Internet of Things.” It’s a key element to rolling out the IMF-, WEF-, and United Nations-backed Great Reset, and it’s not for your benefit. WEF founder Klaus Schwab admits “governments will gain new technological powers to increase their control over populations, based on pervasive surveillance systems and the ability to control the digital infrastructure.”
Demonic and technological forces work incessantly to deter the unsuspecting from seeking the true God of this land.
Rabbi Simeon cries, ‘Alas, for the blindness of the sons of men, all unaware as they are, how full the earth is of strange and invisible beings and hidden dangers, which could they but see them, they would marvel how they themselves can survive ten minutes on the earth.
Even inanimate idols and gods can get power over us as evil flows when they are worshipped. Strange gods, like the sun, have been the object of worship for millennia. Abraham knew the sun was not God, only a “servant of God” fulfilling its role.
God “gave Abram an understanding heart and he knew all the works of that generation were vain, and that all their gods were vain and were of no avail” (Jasher 9:12). God showed Ezekiel that erring and vain worship was found even in His temple.
Go in and see the wicked and detestable things they are doing . . . and he brought me into the inner court of the Lord’s house . . . [with] about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the Lord, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east. (Ezekiel 8:9, 16)
In 2022, global religious leaders—including Catholic, LDS, Buddhist, Judaism, India’s religions, Islam, other Christian sects, and “all manner of pagans and heathens”—joined forces by gathering in Egypt “to repent of their alleged ‘climate’ sins and usher in what they describe as a new universal ‘Ten Commandments’ . . . [These] were re-framed as ‘Ten Principles of Climate Repentance’” only after harsh criticism worldwide. As the UN climate summit took place nearby, this “move toward a united global religious movement” centered around Mother Earth concerned many, especially when Interfaith Center for Sustainable Development boss Rabbi Yonatan Neril “claimed humanity needed a drastic reset of the systems of life and civilization . . . [to] manifest a new earth.” Basically they’re saying “the original Ten Commandments delivered by Moses by the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth are not just obsolete, but contributing to the supposed ‘climate emergency’.” Not only was it a call for climate change, which only “0.3-36% of climate scientists believe” humans are directly causing, it also established “a new moral code” that abandons previous ethics, including God’s commandments.
‘Climate’ is their chosen vehicle by which extreme changes will come. The UNEP report seeks ‘new moral codes’ to “explore moral or ethical questions around including nonhuman entities.” This is “major blasphemy on the part of these fake faith leaders” who pervert religion to promote the “agenda of evil globalist predators . . . Climate hysteria, i.e., earth worship, is a key component of the coming one-world religion and we’re seeing it on full display.” In December 2023, “for the first time ever, the UN gathering featured a ‘faith pavilion’ hosted by the UN Environment Programme . . . dedicated exclusively to harnessing the religions of the world in the battle against alleged man-made global warming. Countless prayers for ‘climate justice’ and ‘green energy’ went up from the summit to countless deities.”
Church, state, and national leaders justify their actions as progress, innovation, and advancement, but God can never justify sin. They encourage us to look to them to solve the problems that they secretly create. Meanwhile, many perish by wandering down their strange roads. A few religious leaders courageously spoke out against this dangerous agenda that keeps the church from doing what its primary calling is, and that is to win people to faith in Jesus Christ . . . For churches to adopt the United Nations’ purpose statement and causes is really the church prostituting itself . . . A global government isn’t part of God’s plan. We ought to be much more concerned about what God thinks.
In 2002 the Earth Charter, which is “set to become the holy writ of the UN’s new ‘global spirituality’,” was unveiled in South Africa by self-proclaimed “wise persons” headed by former Soviet dictator Mikhail Gorbachev. It is “a universally adopted creed that will psychologically prepare the world’s children to accept the necessity of world government to save the environment. It is also an outrageous attempt to indoctrinate your children in the UN’s New Age paganism.” They admit they target children to “work as active agents of change” for their agenda. Their Preamble states, “We are one human family and one Earth community with a common destiny. We must join together to bring forth a sustainable global society founded on respect for nature.” ‘Sustainability’ implies our life is not sustainable and must be dramatically changed, questioning God’s intelligence in creation. Blasphemy is part of this climate-focused global religion.
The Earth Charter arrived in Johannesburg for a series of rituals, celebrations, and promotions aimed at setting the spiritual tone for the global conference. The venerated Charter is housed and transported in the Ark of Hope, a blasphemous mimicry of the biblical Ark of the Covenant, which held the two tablets containing the Ten Commandments that God gave to Moses. The Ark of Hope is actually designed to look like the Ark of the Covenant and its devotees carry it around with worshipful solemnity.
Satan has been patient in rolling out his diabolical plans, and it seems to have paid off—at least for now. “The transformation is unstoppable” is a central theme of the UN’s COP28 climate summit. They are fully committed and confident they will implement this transformation.
What ‘transformation’ are they talking about? Based on comments from leading UN officials and scientists, experts say the goal is clear: transformation toward technocracy and away from liberty, sovereignty, and self-government.
Men also seek to play god by altering earth’s climate. In 1976, a UN convention discussed “hostile use of environmental modification techniques.” A Russian company openly advertised “Weather Made to Order” technology. GWEN and HAARP towers shoot enormous energy bursts into the atmosphere to control weather. The Pentagon’s HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) project “is made to beam more than 1.7 Gigawatts of radiated power into the ionosphere . . . it will boil the upper atmosphere,” then bounce back down to wherever the target is. HAARP can also create nuclear-sized explosions without radiation, a patent-protected process. This technology, which allows earthquakes on demand, magnifies sunlight, and attempts mind control, seeks to change and control the planet God made so humanity “might have joy” (2 Nephi 2:25).
In the days of Enoch and Noah “they knew all the mysterious arts” and advanced sciences. “The leaders of the people devoted most of their wealth to all kinds of engineering projects for controlling and taming nature . . . independently of God.” They were skilled “in the art of controlling the heavenly forces” of nature. The wicked Enosh “saw the advantage of these arts and how the heavenly courses could be altered by them, and he and his contemporaries studied them and practiced magic and divination” that they passed on for generations. They “were practiced for evil purposes by all the men of that time” of the Flood. “Relying upon these arts, they defied Noah, saying that divine justice could never be executed upon them since they knew a way to avert it.” The righteous “sought to restrain them . . . without success.”
Changing jet streams and river courses, thawing ice caps, altering weather patterns, flooding and droughts, abnormal cooling and warming, and more are blamed on global warming and climate issues, but weather manipulation is playing its role in destroying the planet and furthering their agenda, which “is peddling global totalitarian technocracy under the guise of its 2030 Agenda SDGs” and “calls for national and global wealth redistribution, indoctrination of all children into the UN’s dangerous ideologies, various ‘healthcare’ schemes for everyone on earth, and so much more.
Most of the recent technologies have stripped nature away from people. Too many technologists’ aim seems to be to shield us from nature, to conquer and control her while designing ever more dangerous weapons systems with which to more efficiently strip all life from the planet.
Perhaps this is how the antichrist will “say to the sun ‘fall’ and it will fall. He will say ‘shine’ . . . [or] ‘darken’ and it will do it. He will say to the moon ‘become bloody’ and it will do it” (Apocalypse of Elijah 3:6–7).
Frequently crises are created to bring an end to the ‘old’ ways to make way for their ‘new.’ The idea of man controlling the environment is not new, “for they knew all the arts . . . all the ruling chieftains in charge of the world, and on this knowledge they relied, until at length God disabused them by restoring the earth to its primal state and covering it with water.” Like Noah, Enoch lived in a most wicked generation:
In Enoch’s time, they had all sorts of engineering projects for controlling and taming nature, so did Nimrod, but the Lord altered the order of creation so that their mastery of nature became their undoing.
The same scientific prowess that led them to reject God led them to insult nature, and the upheavals that engulfed them demonstrate the very real ecological connection between the sins of men and the revolt of the elements.
Strange gods, lands, and ways will be their demise. “The ungodly that denied to know thee were scourged by the strength of thine arm with strange rains, hails, and showers were they persecuted, that they could not avoid, and through fire were they consumed” (Wisdom of Solomon 16:16).
Perhaps the countless videos of unexplained sounds across the planet in recent years are the sound of earth itself moaning, for it is written “because of the groanings of the earth, many . . . shall be wrought upon by the Spirit of God to exclaim the God of nature suffers” (1 Nephi 19:12). Enoch heard the earth groan from the wickedness. “The earth began to cry out” (1 Enoch 87:1).
Enoch looked upon the earth; and he heard a voice from the bowels thereof, saying: Wo, wo is me, the mother of men; I am pained, I am weary, because of the wickedness of my children. When shall I rest, and be cleansed from the filthiness which is gone forth out of me? When will my Creator sanctify me, that I may rest, and righteousness for a season abide upon my face? (Moses 7:48)
Satan wants us to believe the only way to help mother earth is through buying into the fraudulent climate issues, but scripture tells us differently. We can only help her through repentance. Every single blessing that humanity has been given can be, and often is, contaminated and diverted from God’s intended purpose. “Those who insist on ‘clinging to the earth’ as if they owned it have forever disqualified themselves from receiving hereafter” the eternal blessings God promises the faithful.
The war is real. We cannot afford to be distracted or disengaged,
for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12)
So powerful is his influence that the self-proclaimed “god of this world” (2 Corinthians 4:4) has entirely usurped it. “Most people are totally ignorant of the most powerful spiritual force in the world today . . . [Satan] is a being with tremendous power. Isaiah 14 says he made the earth to tremble and he shakes kingdoms and empires.” He “enslaved the nations” (Isaiah 14:6, Jerusalem Bible) and “deceived the whole world” (Revelation 12:9). Few realize that, with God, we are more powerful than Satan. Satan’s power only comes when people give their power to him through erring choices. Jesus set the example saying, “Get thee hence, Satan!” (Matthew 4:10).
Many pride themselves on being keepers of divine law, but they are actually in a state of “perpetual backsliding” (Jeremiah 8:5). Those entrusted with His gospel who do not seek or hear Him will “go and fall backward, and be broken and snared and taken” in the trap (Isaiah 28:13).
Society is succumbing to his temptations as many invite evil into their lives unintentionally or willingly, thus transforming a nation once under God into a strange land. The “nation changed their gods,” exchanging the true God of this land for that which “doth not profit” eternally (Jeremiah 2:11). Instead of building a house of God and city with foundations, the world has chosen Babylon. What will you choose?
If you leave the Lord and serve strange gods, He will turn and afflict you, and will destroy you after all the good He hath done . . . put away the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the Lord God of Israel. (Joshua 24:20, 23, Douay-Rheims)
We cannot coexist with evil. “Hate evil, you who love the Lord” (Psalm 97:10). “If ye do return unto the Lord with all your hearts, then (1) put away the strange gods . . . from among you, and (2) prepare your hearts unto the Lord, and (3) serve him only” (1 Samuel 7:3, numerals added).
